1. The Old and New Testaments as inspired of God and that the bible is the only sufficient,
certain, authoritative rule for:
- Salvation
- Faith
- Obedience
2. In one God who reveals Himself to us as:
- Father
- Son
- Holy Spirit
3. That man was created in the image of God.
- He sinned and thereby brought upon himself not only physical death but also
spiritual death, which is separation from God.
- That all human beings are born with a sinful nature.
- Upon reaching the age of moral responsibility, become sinners in the thought,
word and deed.
4. The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
- All who commit their lives to Him in trust and in obedience are justified on the basis
of His shed blood.
- Salvation is by grace through faith and that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus
Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
- The resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord.
5. Jesus Christ is the head of the church.
- The church is self-governed by its members who follow the leadership of the
Holy Spirit.
6. God, in His own time and in His own way
- Will bring the world to its appropriate end.
- According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly
in glory to the earth.
7. The dead will be raised and Christ will judge all men in righteousness
- The unrighteous will be consigned to hell, the place of everlasting punishment.
- The righteous, in their resurrected and glorified bodies, will receive their
rewards and will dwell forever in heaven with the Lord.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
